Our first major news update here in Coach’s Corner is one that means a lot on several fronts. We have signed a multi-unit agreement for Timber Pizza Co. to begin development in the Atlanta metro area!

Our development area includes Alpharetta and Cumming and is for 2 units. Our real estate search is underway and we’re looking forward to finding amazing locations as we bring our first location to Georgia. This deal represents another major Southern expansion milestone and brings us to our 6th state as we continue to plant our flag in the Southeast.

On a personal note, this expansion is near and dear to my heart. My best friend and fellow restaurateur Chris Haskins has deep ties to Atlanta and his family has long been stewards of the city. His Aunt, Mayor Shirley Franklin’s legacy lives on well beyond her time in office and influence with major initiatives such as the Olympics and airport expansion.

Timber’s ties to Atlanta are also as strong as ever as Matt Friedman, founder of WingZone and Chief Strategy Officer ran his company from headquarters for 25 years and currently resides in Marietta.

Continuing in our southern expansion with the largest major metro in the entire Southeast and intentions of securing great partners in Savannah, Augusta and Macon have us very bullish on the Peach state.

We can’t wait to share more as our journey continues!
